Our Story
How it Began
The origins of Casa Verde came about from a desire to escape city life and taste freedom. Our dreams came to fruition in the early 1990s when we discovered Troncones, a small fishing village in Guerrero, Mexico, where locals were selling beachfront lots. Our new home began on a makeshift platform, with our two boys in diapers, a big bottle of water, some cots, and a lot of joy.
Change & Growth
Dramatic transformations happened as Troncones got electricity and running water. The owner was deeply involved in yoga and wanted to honor the winds that breathe life through our home.
A Dream Come True
We loved and lived among the tidepools and beach waves. The refining elements of Casa Verde came from listening to the winds, the sun, and the moon for design inspiration.
Even as our pueblo of Troncones grows, we appreciate our community's warmth and closeness, reverence for the wild beauty that remains in our area. Casa Verde is still breathing the same simple green lifestyle we always wanted.
